Pre-Conference Workshop

Projects in R: Creating Reproducible Analyses

The Pre-Conference Workshop Projects in R:  Creating Reproducible Analyses will take place on Thursday, June 22nd. For this workshop, Dr. Franz Wortha from Loughborough University, UK, will visit us.

The workshop will teach you how you can set up analyses in R so that your colleagues or you in a year can rerun the analyses without running into errors or receiving different results.

The workshop will start on Thursday at 1 pm and end at 6 pm – no worries, we'll have plenty of coffee and several breaks planned.

If you want to participate in the workshop please indicate this when you submit your abstract or register for the conference.

Keynotes

We are happy to announce that we were able to win two brilliant experimental researchers for at this year's ADok keynotes:

On Friday, PD Dr. Kerstin Fröber from University Regensburg will tell us how to survive accademia while staying sane and calm. She will give us an insight on how to manoeuvre safely through the rough waters of an accademic career.

On Saturday, we will dive deep into the history and reasons for experimental psychology when Prof. Dr. Jan Rummel from Heidelberg University will tell us why experimental psychology is so powerful.

Social Event

Getting to know each other with a nice BBQ

To remain faithful to the tradition, we will organize a BBQ on Friday night. There will be plenty of options for people with a vegan and vegetarian diet.

For this, we will be at the courtyard of another old building of Greifswald's university, the former women's hospital. We will spend the evening together, have a drink and can continue to discuss our research topics or general interests. The BBQ is included in the registration fee.
