Research interests
My research investigates cognitive and neural mechanisms associated with aging and depression, particularly from the perspective of the reduced state space theory of human aging.
My research focuses on three key areas:
1. Investigating behavioral and performance deficits in older adults across various cognitive domains.
2. Analysis of the neural processes that influence cognitive aging and their impact on the representation of state spaces in cognitive tasks.
3. Investigation of the relationship between depression and representations of reduced state spaces in cognitive tasks.
The main goal of my research is to deepen our understanding of cognitive impairments associated with aging and depression using EEG and pupillometry techniques.
