Research interests
Through my research, I investigate the cognitive and neural mechanisms associated with aging and depression, specifically through the lens of the diminished state space theory of human aging.
My research focuses on three key areas:
- Examining behavioral and performance deficits in older adults across various cognitive domains.
- Analyzing the neural processes that influence cognitive aging and their effects on the representation of state spaces in cognitive tasks.
- Exploring the relationship between depression and diminished state space representations in cognitive tasks.
The primary goal of my research is to deepen our understanding of cognitive impairments related to aging and depression using EEG and pupillometry techniques.
