Feedback during psychotherapy
Greifswald Psychotherapy Navigation System (GPNS)
Patient-reported outcome measures (PROM), i.e., reported treatment progress and outcomes from the patient's perspective, are a method of closely monitoring progress in medical and therapeutic interventions. For some time now, they have also been used in psychotherapy with the aim of utilizing this information within ongoing psychotherapeutic treatment. It has already been shown that the use of clinical feedback during psychotherapy improves therapy outcomes and, in particular, reduces negative progress.
In this context, we developed the “Greifswald Psychotherapy Navigation System” (GPNS) as a clinical support tool, which has been routinely used for all new cases since December 2021.
